it was splashdown2004 today, and i splashed down into the nus sports pool for like an hour plus cos my hunger from skipping lunch was getting the better of me. not that i intended to skip lunch, just that rushing to nus was my main priority b4 that..haha..so i only managed to complete 56 lengths..which is about 2.8k..when i could have done much better than that..so nvm..i guess i'll work harder for next year!the chlorine totally ruined my hair...argh..but heck. haha..it was funny and fun actually..everone squeezing into the lanes..and then the pool was disgustingly murky..bittersalty..its like we've only heard of bittersweet..ever wondered wad on earth is bitter salty? go have a sip of the pool. urgh. i wonder what was in there..but i just refuse to imagine..haha..so there were the angmohs that really scared me. why? cos they are so much huger..and every pull and kick they make..u'd better stay out or else u might just get a black eye! that was the predicament i was in for trying to overtake some people..and then i saw bubble boy right in front of me! its unmistakeable..his face..which was covered by goggles..but he has recognisable lips..haha..oh well..so he was ahead of me..and then later he disappeared..and out of the so many heads there..the only way i could recognise him was by looking for the blue and black trunks. argh. where on earth did he go?and that made me think of sth. many times u hope so badly for something to happen your way, but things just refuse to happen, and when they do, you prolly dont want it to happen already, or u you prolly dont even need it to happen. so last time i was dying to see bubble boy, but nv got to. and i was so dying to see sharkster, but never got to either.and all at once. i see them today.ha! haha..a pretty cool day in the end. the sun left me crabby and with sloth rings from the imprints of my goggles. haha..funny but cool nonetheless.period!
