( im going down to chinatown @ Wednesday, February 02, 2005 )

i'm going down to chinatown. just got back from there. pretty crowded but wasn't THAT bad. in fact, it was quite fun, i just love the atmosphere. sorry though, was so crowded at a point that i didnt even realise that i was "molesting" and ah pek. *paiseh* but anyway, going to chinatown as always been an annual "event" so to speak. sometimes my parents dread the crowd. in fact it seemed like me and my mom felt like we were going giddy from the lack of oxygen. but nonetheless, it's always so endearing to hold on to my parents amidst the crowd, knowing that i have them beside me to protect me, and for me to protect them. symbiosis i guess.ha!
we didnt buy anithing this time cos i guess we've already gotten most of the new year goods already, and i guess new year wont be celebrated in such a big hoo ha kinda atmosphere? but who noes. after all we've got new furniture, new feng shui, and a new coat of paint for my gates and soon my walls..heh.

saw him today. and what i felt was a mixture of anger. sadness. fear. and happiness. 4 feelings or more in one. but nonetheless, i've decided that maybe its better for us to just be friends, and hopefully, siblings. that is if his ego allows him. was so tempted to talk to him earlier. even to give him a slap. but then. something tells me that he wanted to talk too but i was giving the cold shoulder. hmmm.. im not sure, im still waiting.waiting for my answer. meanwhile, wishing the best for him. hope he grows up and learns. just as i am still learning...

was reading the road less travelled again earlier. its a pretty good self help book that reminds me of the rational and more matured way i used to think before. some kinda guide book that i'd recommend anyone and everyone to pick up.was just talking to di earlier in the day, and he told me something "...then it's his problem, not yours.."
then later upon reading the book, i found the answer to my uncertainty about what he said. under the topic Responsibilty: We cannot solve life's problems excet by solving them. this statement may seem idiotically tautological or self-evident, yet it is seemingly beyond the comprehension of much of the human race. this is because we must accept responsibility for a problem before we can solve it. we canot solve a problem by saying "it's not my problem. " we cannot solve a problem by hoping that someone else will solve it for us. i can solve a problem only when i say "This is my problem and it's up to me to solve it. " but many, so many, seek to avoid the pain of their problems by saying to themselves: " This problem was caused me by other people, or by social circumstances beyond my control, and therefore it is up to other people or society to solve this problem for me. it is not really my personal problem. "

i guess its my problem, its his problem, and its our problem. we must, we will, and we are going to solve it.soon.

went down to the ymca today, just after doing a recording at ah boi's studio. it was so funny, especially when i changed the instrument on the keyboard from a piano, to strings. haha. it just seemed like i had the orchestra at my finger tips. then again, i think im better at the piano as compared to the keyboard. at least thanks to mrs wu for the techniques. had a fun time with tracy and mandy. especially on the way back in mandy's car. she's my girlfriend. fun and nice gal to talk to sia. all the way back at the y, it was eefang and jeslin's birthday bbq. only got them a box of fererro roches. sorrie peeps. didnt have time to shop. hope you enjoyed it though. and then had junior ys men meeting . felt so guilty cos me and christine had to "conduct"the meeting and pass the news instead of tracy. grr. feel so bad. so bad. but then again, at least it was a good talk. heh. glen was really nice. christine says he's cute.haha. really nice staff. who helped us take some food to the 2 starving singers. us of course. haha. but it was so sinful and shiny. that we left it there for jonathan. haha. glad he enjoyed it.
well tomorrow's the concert and i've yet to sell any tickets. great. why no one can make it arh..siao liao. 10 tickets. 10 tickets.10 tickets. alamak. ok. i pray. hope the concert will rock tomorrow!
